- Under Graduate Teacher (for Classes I-V):12th or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or 12th or its equivalent with 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) and Passed T-TET
- Graduate Teacher (for Classes VI-VIII): Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (1-year Diploma in Education) or B.Ed./B.EI.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed and Passed T-TET
